The annual workshop is an informal event held each spring for sharing new research results that advance science important to IEP and the larger Delta science community. The workshop features invited speakers, interactive sessions with principal investigators, a poster session, and a mentor luncheon for early career professionals.
2025 IEP Annual Workshop
March 4-6, 2025 at California Natural Resources Headquarters (715 P Street, Sacramento)
The workshop will be a free, hybrid event (in-person and remote). Separate registration is required for both in-person and remote attendance.
Please note: The chairs of the Delta Cyanobacterial Harmful Algal Bloom (CHAB) Strategy Implementation Team will be hosting their first annual Delta CHAB Workshop concurrently with the IEP Workshop.

Registration for Remote Attendance Via Zoom (Open until March 6)
ZOOM Remote Registration
- Registration is for remote attendance only (i.e., watch the live stream on Zoom). Registration for in-person attendance is closed.
- You only need to register once. The Zoom link will be good for the entire workshop period (March 4-6, 2025).
- A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants, which is specific to the registered user, so don't share with others.
- Registration for remote attendance will remain open through the end of the workshop.
Early Career Award Judges
Register to be a Judge
Each year an award is given to an early career scientist with the Best Presentation and the Best Poster. Volunteer judges are needed to evaluate participating early career award candidates' presentations and posters.

Workshop Recordings
The 2025 IEP Annual Workshop presentations will be recorded (excluding presentations where presenters have not provided permission) and shared after the workshop closed captions are completed.
