IEP Workshop Abstract Submission Deadline Extended!
Abstract Submission Deadline Extended to Monday, November 18!
The Annual IEP Workshop will be held March 4-6, 2025 at the California Natural Resources Headquarters building in Sacramento. The workshop will be a free, hybrid event available for both in-person and remote attendees. Workshop registration will open in early February 2025.
Abstract Submissions
We are now accepting abstract submissions. Participants wishing to present must submit an abstract (300 words or less) summarizing their contribution. We welcome submissions from all IEP member agencies, affiliates, and other stakeholders at all career levels, and preliminary work is welcome!
Participants are limited to one abstract as presenting author but may be a contributing author on any number of others.
Abstracts will be selected based on:
- Relevance. Priority will be given to abstracts aligning with the IEP Science Strategy or that were derived from IEP workplan elements.
- Originality. Priority will be given to abstracts that have not been presented elsewhere, and to speakers who did not present at the 2024 IEP workshop.
- Collaboration. Priority will be given to abstracts that include collaborative work between two or more agencies or groups.
- Career stage. Preference will be given to presentations given by early career scientists, students, and scientific aides.
- Scientific merit. Preference will be given to abstracts including novel ideas and studies with results that will be ready by the time of the workshop.
