Sharing this announcement with the IEP community per a request from the Delta Science Program.

Dear CWEMF Members & Friends,

CWEMF is seeking proposals for sessions (with session moderators), individual oral presentations, posters, and pop-up talks for its 2025 Annual Meeting. We are planning an in-person meeting at the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom tentatively scheduled for May 12-14, 2025. For those who may be interested in proposing/moderating a session, attached is a version of the 2024 CWEMF moderator guidelines that are subject to revision for next year’s meeting. Please note that a mandatory, on-line instructional meeting is planned to be held (date forthcoming) with all prospective moderators prior to final selection of proposals.

Sessions will be scheduled with a duration of 1.75 hours and will include 3-4 presentations. If your proposed session is in the form of a panel discussion, please indicate this in your submission. For those submitting session proposals, please indicate if you intend to completely fill your session or if you are open to accepting talks on a related topic. If your session is not fully filled with talks by the proposal deadline, and you are not willing to accommodate independent individual talks, your session may be given lower priority if there are not enough time slots to accommodate all sessions and individual talks.

The submission deadline for sessions and oral presentations is COB January 3, 2025. The submission deadline for pop-up talks and posters will be announced at a later date. Please direct your proposal and any questions to Paul Hutton, CWEMF Executive Director, at Paul.Hutton@tetratech.com with subject line “CWEMF 2025 AM”.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing your ideas!

Sincerely,
