The Genetics Project Work Team provides a venue for scientists from diverse groups to collaboratively discuss San Francisco Estuary genetic studies and their management relevance.
Objectives
- Provide a forum for San Francisco Estuary and watershed genetic research and monitoring, irrespective of taxa
- Provide general information sharing as well as providing guidance and review of research and monitoring activities
- Foster increased communication and collaboration amongst geneticists working in the Bay-Delta ecosystem; Promote genetic research that has direct applications for species and ecosystem management
- Review and inform coordinated genetic monitoring programs
