Upper Sacramento River Project Work Team

The Upper Sacramento River Salmon Monitoring Project Work Team meets on an annual basis to facilitate communication and the exchange of information among the State and federal agencies monitoring Chinook salmon and steelhead in the Upper Sacramento River Basin.

Objectives

  • Provide informal oral presentations on the results of the monitoring activities conducted in previous years
  • Coordinate exchange of study plans prior to the upcoming field season and provide monitoring updates
  • Extend data sharing opportunities to green sturgeon studies and ecological monitoring in the Upper Sacramento River
  • Foster collaboration and professional development among participating agency staff by rotating the annual meeting chair position
