August 17, 2022 CDFW Summer Townet Survey
Sacramento River below Rio Vista

The Summer Townet Survey is on the water today and is catching a lot of invasive aquatic weeds.

These tows were in the Sacramento River channel below Rio Vista sampling in >30 feet of depth. We had lots of Egeria in the net. Hopefully this is vegetation that is dying back and just being dispersed around with flows and tides.
