Greetings IEP Community Members!

We hope you enjoyed the 2025 IEP Annual Workshop. It was a pleasure seeing so many of you in-person, and we were excited to see so many people joining us virtually over Zoom. We are already scheduling the workshop for 2026, so save the dates March 16 - 18, 2026. A call for volunteers to help us plan the program will be sent during mid-summer, so make sure you are subscribed to our Annual Workshop listserv.

Poster Forum - Now Live!

The 2025 Poster Forum is now live on the IEP website. It contains the poster images and poster abstracts from the 2025 IEP Annual Workshop. Many, but not all, of the poster images have been added to the forum. In some cases, poster authors were unable to share their poster image. If you are interested in viewing a poster that is missing from the forum, please contact the poster author directly using the email shown in their abstract. Abstracts can be found under their associated poster category inside the forum, or you can look them up in the Abstract Booklet.

Workshop Recordings

We are busy reviewing and correcting the closed captions of the workshop recordings. Once the files are complete, we will share the link to the recordings. Thank you for your patience!

If you have additional questions related to the workshop, send an email to iep@wildlife.ca.gov.

A Workshop After Hours Event - March 5

Need to blow off some energy following all the exciting workshop science? Peter Nelson has organized an after hours event for attendees. Join Peter and others on Wednesday evening (3/5/2025) after the talks at the local climbing gym, Sacramento Pipeworks, in downtown Sacramento (116 N 16th St). Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to climbing or an old hand. You can then head next door to the Pintworks Restaurant and Brewery to brag over your climbing feats. Check out the details in the After Hours Event Flyer.

Volunteers Still Needed

We still need volunteers to help run mics, keep sessions on time, and monitor the overflow room next to the posters. If interested, please complete the volunteer registration form by Friday, February 21, 2025. Volunteers are the backbone of the workshop and help us ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
